Tom Amble

Vice President, Procurement CenturyLink

Tom Amble is the Vice President of Procurement for CenturyLink and is responsible for CenturyLink’s North American purchasing, IT procurement, Indirect procurement, accounts payable and procurement systems. His passions for optimizing stakeholder relationships and leading teams led to exceptional results in his previous roles at FreeMarkets (now Ariba), Equity Office Properties, Cricket Wireless and now at CenturyLink. Most recently, Tom was the procurement integration lead for CenturyLink’s acquisition of Level 3 Communications. In this role, he was accountable for managing process, policy and organizational alignment and maximizing third-party cost synergies.

 He holds bachelor’s degrees in sociology and psychology from the University of Indiana.
