As Vice President of Advisory Services, Mike Beals leads NPI’s IT sourcing transformation and software license audit services. Backed by more than 25 years of experience in IT governance, sourcing and relationship management, he helps NPI’s clients mitigate compliance risk, optimize software license audit outcomes, and achieve the highest standards of IT sourcing excellence. Beals was formerly Founder and President of The Governance Academy where he helped clients improve the relationships and capabilities of sourcing, relationship management, and governance professionals through training, tools, and advisory services. He previously served as the Vice President of Software at EquaSiis, a wholly owned company of EquaTerra that was acquired by KPMG. Beals is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in computer science.
