Director, Global Procurement NBA (National Basketball Association)
David Mairs is the Director of Global Procurement for the National Basketball Association, leading sourcing efforts for NBA leagues and entities worldwide. Dave joined the NBA in 2017 after more than 20 years in procurement across multiple industries. He was one of the first members of the Procurement Services division at RBS Citizens N.A., a group that grew to oversee purchasing for all RBS divisions in North and South America. He held various leadership positions on that team, leading large and complex projects, coordinating procurement’s role in acquisitions & divestitures, and overseeing the Supplier Diversity program. Dave has also held senior procurement roles at the TJX Companies and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI. He holds degrees in Operations Management from Northeastern University and Electronics Engineering from the New England Institute of Technology.
