Carla Di Castro

Carla Di Castro is a Senior Global Sourcing Manager, Technology for Tech Ops at Workday. She leads a high caliber team responsible for technology acquisitions including a portfolio of SW, HW, SaaS, and services. Her passion is to work with suppliers that truly align with the company’s culture, resulting in an excellent partnership, significant cost savings and additional value. Carla has experience with a broad range of global sourcing initiatives, contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. She has led cross-functional efforts and transformation programs, served as Director of IT Strategic Sourcing at McKesson, overseeing multi-million dollar projects. 

She earned two awards from the Workday CIO Office: Magnificent Business Partner and Service/Delivery Excellence at Workday, the “Values in Action” Outstanding Recognition Award from CIO at SanDisk 

Carla was profiled in the San Francisco Chronicle "Movers and Shakers" as the first woman to be selected President of the Institute for Supply Management-Northern California (ISM-NC).  She also serves as advisor for the ISM-NC Board of Directors.

She holds an MBA degree from University of Houston, a Certificate in Business Administration from UC Berkeley Extension, and a B.A. in Communications.
